Food Saver Wax Bars:
Beeswax for food saver wraps is a popular and natural choice when making your own reusable food wraps.
- Made with USA beeswax, Jojoba Oil and Pine Resign
- For making new food saver wraps
- For re-freshing old food saver wraps
- Easy to use – shave onto fabric or melt and use a brush
- Each bar is at least 1 oz (most are close to 1.5 oz)
Can be used to make or re-freshen an old food saver wrap. Â Bars contain 100% Pure USA Beeswax, Jojoba Oil and Pine Resin.
How to Use:
You can shave the bars and spread onto the fabric, then place in an oven on 180 degrees to melt the wax into the fabric. Â Be sure to use an old cookie sheet and/ or parchment paper under fabric or melt wax bars in a double boiler and then paint onto fabric using a small paint brush – you may need to warm fabric in an oven to help the wax to soak into fabric OR use a heat gun or hair dryer to help melt wax into fabric.
- Small wrap (7″ x 7″): About 0.5 oz of wax.
- Medium wrap (11″ x 11″): About 1 oz of wax.
- Large wrap (13″ x 14″ or bigger): About 2 oz of wax
